Welcome to our homepage, this website is the home of the Little Critter Hollander Beater, a machine designed to pulp up any kind of plant material for use in papermaking. Make your own beautiful papers, design them especially for your own artwork, handmade books, cards or any one of hundreds of uses. The Hollander is unique in that it can process cotton and linen rags for making the highest quality papers. The Hollander Beater was designed in the Seventeenth Century to run off a windmill, This machine revolutionized the papermaking industry being more efficiant than the old Stamper mills that preceded them. I have redesigned this machine to be compact. lightweight and affordable, an excellent studio tool and great for school and classroom use.
